Happy 2022 day-067! Today’s update and challenge…
Continuing yesterday’s #happy2022workday theme of Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS), before we circle back to boomerang integrations let’s move on from the Error and look at the Alert, wrapping-up with another Challenge:
- The “Column Heading Override XML Alias” shown as defaulted value
- The Alert is orange instead of red (and my guess is that those who understand this ignore it, which we might discuss in tomorrow’s post)
- In edit mode, the opportunity to change the default from (1)
4a and 4b) CHALLENGE: For those who are new to RaaS but understand how powerful this knowledge will be for your #Workday boomerangs and for your future, your challenge is to think about whether or not it is ok to have two values (in this case, “Hire_Date”) that are the exact same? If this doesn’t ever or hardly ever causes an issue, why might this be the case that it is ok?
BONUS CHALLENGE: Similar to having two exact same values in that XML column, here’s a True/False question for you: Can you have two custom reports in Workday that have the exact same name?
