Happy 2022 day-066! Today’s challenge…

During the 3/3 Reporting Share-a-thon last week, we had a session on Reports for Boomerang integrations. Several #Workday sharing fans who are good with Advanced reports would like to take that next step into the wonderful world of Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS) via the “Enable as Web Service” checkbox on the custom report Advanced tab.

Just check the box. If only it were that easy.

This “Reports for Boomerangs” topic is going on the Agenda for the 9/9 “pre-Rising Weekend Share-a-thon” in Orlando. We start preparing now with the first in a sequence of RaaS posts.

We have many small RaaS things to cover. Luckily, there are many days between now and 9/9. So, here goes the first(?) of several steps…

Ok, maybe this isn’t the first step, because we are including an RBO on the PBO, which introduces potential issues. The picture shows the manager (“Manager – Level 01”) RBO on the Worker PBO.

Head over to the Advanced tab and select the Enable as a Web Service checkbox. Click on Save and an error shows the problem (see top of pic): “Group Column Headings must be specified”

CHALLENGE (please do *not* Comment if you know the answer): Why in the Group Column Headings shown on the bottom of the pic does it list Worker?
