Happy 2022 day-062! Today’s sharing…
This one is a bit dated, something I shared 4 years ago during our first Recruiting Share-a-thon (May 2018) for finding duplicates in Advanced reports, before finding duplicates became a feature. But, it’s worth sharing as an example of the “Filter on Aggregations” feature.
Encouraged by the full day of sharing on 3/3, the So Cal RUG presentation on “Unified Duplicate Management”, and the 3/3 Reporting Share-a-thon Advanced topics, I remembered this approach to finding duplicates using the Filter on Aggregations feature (which was somewhat new at the time), sent to me by a Friend (whose first name starts with an ‘F’):
- Specify Sum as an Option in Columns tab
- Summarize Detail Rows in Sort tab
- Filter on Aggregations using Sum in Filter tab
- Result shows one row for each duplicate, with the count (2 or more)
