Happy 2022 day-015! Today’s news…

Using a FRD CF in the Workday Calculated Fields challenge from the past two days of #happy2022workday posts can result in a sorting problem with reports. This reminds me of a reporting challenge I posted on Community back in Dec 2016. Let’s bring it back as we continue focus this month on Calc Fields in prep for the 2/2/22 CF Share-a-thon: “Workday Way Challenge # 5: Monthly Hire Date Not Correctly Sorted”, found here (on Community).

Essentially, since FoRmat Date (FRD) CF returns a Text instead of a Date, how can you best sort a report by the FRD column by Date instead of Text?
